A water rescue team had to be mobilized Wednesday afternoon in response to a vehicle accident in Jackson Township.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just before 1:30 p.m. for a truck that rolled over into a pond at the Seneca Landfill off Hartmann Road.
Early reports were that the driver was entrapped in the truck but once police arrived on the scene, they found that the man had gotten out of the vehicle and was complaining of neck pain.
Crews from Evans City and Harmony District continued to the scene to make sure that fuel was not leaking into the pond.
