The Pennsylvania Board of Game Commission has accepted a deal with a Pittsburgh area energy company regarding land in Butler County.
At a meeting last week, the Commissioners approved an agreement with Laurel Mountain Energy LLC, for oil and gas rights under portions of State Game Lands 95 near Bruin, Boyers, and North Washington.
Laurel Mountain Energy, of Pittsburgh, will pay the Game Commission just over $800,000, plus royalties.
This agreement will not result in additional surface use or disturbance to the game lands.
