Ervin T. Deal Sr., 87, of East Butler passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. He was born in Springfield, PA on May 13, 1934 to the late Frank T. and Martha (Barnes) Deal. Ervin served honorably in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was employed by Pullman Standard for over 30 years and retired when the closed. Ervin was a member of the East Butler Fireman’s Club and American Legion Post #117. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and fires. Ervin was known for his work ethic and his love for his family. He was the beloved husband to Georgia (Logan) Deal since their marriage on August 4, 1955; father of Cindy (Devin) Thomas, Patricia (William) Shuler, Ervin T. (Kelly) Deal Jr., Eric (Becky) Deal, Blanche (Doug) Mentzer, Ben Deal, and Gerry Deal (Kevin Scott); brother of Gladys (Rich) Gardner. Ervin is also survived by 25 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers, sisters, and 1 grandchild.
