Eugene W. Christy Jr

Eugene W. Christy Jr, 53, of Butler passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2023. He was born in New Castle on November 20, 1969 to the late Eugene Sr. and Bonita (Hardie) Christy. After graduating from Portersville Christian School Eugene went to serve his country honorably in the USMC. He then worked at Traco until retirement. He was known for being a loving husband, father, son, and brother with a wonderful sense of humor. Eugene was a member of Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, VFW post 249. He enjoyed computer gaming, watching hockey, and collecting nutcrackers. Eugene was the beloved husband of Amy (Lingenfelter) Christy since their marriage in 2001; father of Eugene Christy III; brother of Sil Diane Christy, Karen Christy, Dale (Barb) Christy, Robin (Jay) Stahlman, Connie Christy, Raymond (Chance) Christy, Virginia (Glenn) Wells, Rick (Neva) Christy, and Douglas Christy. Eugene was preceded in death by his brother Clyde Christy. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 11 AM at Faith Fellowship Alliance Church for prayers.
