The Evans City Borough is declaring a Disaster Emergency for the municipality.
The Connoquenessing Valley Regional Emergency Management Agency received the paperwork the borough earlier this week.
Officials say this will give the municipality flexibility in the prevention, mitigation, and any response and recovery to the impact of the coronavirus on the community.
