In honor of International Women’s Day on Friday, the public is invited to attend a local event to hear from a bestselling author.
The Evans City Library will welcome Pittsburgh native Marie Benedict to the Glen Eden Barn at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Attendees will be able to ask questions and have books signed by the historical fiction novelist who often focuses on women overlooked by history.
This event is free to attend but registration is required through the Evans City Library website.
