A local man has been charged following accusations that he provided drugs that resulted in an overdose death.
According to a criminal complaint filed by the Adams Township Police Department, 33-year-old Robert Fugate II of Evans City is responsible for the overdose of a 24-year-old man that happened in April.
An autopsy determined the man died of fentanyl and heroin toxicity. An investigation of the man’s cell phone revealed that he was discussing the delivery of heroin with Fugate before he died.
Fugate was taken into custody and charged with felony Drug Delivery Resulting in Death and felony Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance.
