An Evans City man has been charged with over 380 felonies for having possession of child sex abuse materials after several cyber tip lines were filed.
In October of 2022, Pennsylvania State Police received a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children for several social media accounts connected to 36-year-old Joshua Anderson.
After the initial report was filed, there were 13 more reports filed by February of 2023. Then in March of that year, Anderson was interviewed by police where he allegedly admitted sharing and distributing child sex abuse material.
He is facing a total of 399 charges with over 380 being related to material Anderson held on several devices in his possession.
Anderson has been placed in the Butler County Jail on a $50,000 bond and his Formal Arraignment is set for November 11.
