Following a nearly three-day closure, Evans City Road is now reopen.
PennDOT officials announced that the stretch of road in between Mars-Evans City Road and Route 528 is now open to traffic.
Witnesses say a sinkhole emerged on the road late Thursday, forcing the shutdown for most of the weekend.
