Butler Empty Bowls

The 6th grade students at Butler Middle School created ceramic bowls to raise money to fight hunger. They are selling the bowls for $5, which includes a scoop of ice cream. All proceeds will benefit the Kids’ Weekend Backpack Program, an initiative to provide food for the weekends to kids in need in the BASD. The supplies for this project were made possible through a Creative Teaching Grant from the Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation and the ice cream is being donated by Cummings Coffee & Candy.
