It’s been a roller coaster year so far for the stock market, but local financial advisor Howie Pentony says things should remain relatively stable over the next few months.
“Historically speaking, July, August, and September are just level. Not much happening ever,” Pentony said.
Pentony also said that currently the coronavirus isn’t dictating market trends as much as it had at the beginning of the pandemic.
“Every morning, whatever the headlines were about the coronavirus, that’s what the market did,” Pentony said. “But right now, the virus is not having a daily effect on the market to any degree that I can see.”
The market has rebounded nearly 40 percent since it tumbled earlier this year.
