The 166th Big Butler Fair wraps up this weekend in Prospect.
The event, which is held at the Big Butler Fairgrounds on Route 422, is one of the largest fairs in the state. Attractions include amusement rides, livestock exhibits, live music and food stands.
Friday is a busy day at the fair with Kid Power Pedal Pulls beginning at 5 p.m. followed by the Mud Bog at 7 p.m. The evening continues with the annual youth awards program at 7 and the youth dance at 8:30 p.m.
Then on Saturday night, a free concert is planned for 7 p.m. featuring Chase Bryant, Melissa Quinn Fox, and Arbor North along with a second bike night.
Fair admission is $8 online or $7 before 4 p.m. at the gate and $9 after. It does cost more to ride the amusement rides. Children ages 6 and younger get in for free.
The fair runs through Saturday.
