The bright colors of trees in the area are now beginning to fade according to the latest report from the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
Butler County and surrounding regions are now in the “starting to fade” classification of the foliage season.
Officials with the DCNR says the recent cold batch of weather mixed along with windy conditions have caused some leaves to fall to our north. However, they also noted that many hillsides continue to hang on to the bright and vibrant fall colors.
