A couple of local organizations are teaming up to hold a family gathering this weekend.
The first annual Honey Festival will take place on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Monarch Place on Brugh Avenue in Butler.
Family Pathways are joining with Beekeepers of Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, and Indiana Counties for this foster care recognition and recruitment event.
The day will include honey treats with beekeeping displays as well as carnival games for kids of all ages, face painting, and balloon animals. This event is free and is open to the public.
