The FBI says their investigation into Saturday’s attempted assassination is still in its early stages.
The FBI says they have gained access to shooter Thomas Crooks cell phone and that they continuing to analyze “his electronic device.”
The FBI has also completed a search of Crooks’ home and his vehicle.
There still is no evidence of any motive that has been released to the public.
At the moment, there were no other official details released by the FBI. They did say that hundreds of videos and photos have been submitted to their investigation, and continue to ask for people to send in evidence. That can be done online at FBI.gov/butler.
The FBI is also offering assistance to the victims.
