February’s snowfall total, or lack thereof, has set a record.
The National Weather Service says the Pittsburgh region received only .2 inches of snow during the month of February.
Going back to 1900 that is the lowest total ever recorded in February.
The last time the Pittsburgh region received less than an inch of snow in February was 1987, when .71 inches were officially recorded by the National Weather Service.
