FedEx Cup golf playoffs begin today

The PGA Tour FedEx Cup playoffs begin today with the first of three events leading one golfer to an $18 million top prize. This weekend’s tournament is the St. Jude Open in Memphis. Scottie Scheffler is the points leader entering the tournament. He has led the standings for the last five months. The top 70 in points after this weekend advance to the BMW Championship. Rickie Fowler earned the last spot in the field.
