The public is invited to get in the spirit of the season at an upcoming event on the campus of Slippery Rock University.
SRU’s Performing Arts and Lecture Series is presenting “A Joyful Christmas” featuring virtuoso fiddler Eileen Ivers on Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the University Union.
Ivers is an original star of Riverdance and she has planned a performance of music and dance that includes traditional Irish songs and beloved American carols.
General admission tickets are $22 for adults, $20 for seniors, $18 for kids 17 and younger, and $8 for SRU students.
