No injuries were reported following an early weekend fire at a building in Penn Township.
According to our news partners at WPXI, over 20 fire units were called to the old Franklin Glass Plant just before 9pm on Friday. Authorities say that the roof of the building on Hicks Road had already collapsed upon their arrival.
Officials say that a tenant had dropped off a motorcycle about an hour prior to the fire, and had left to get food. The tenant said that everything was turned off when he left, and that the building was on fire upon his return.
Police say that several tenants currently use the space for their businesses or for storage.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
