More than 20 fire departments were needed to battle a blaze last night at Cleveland Cliffs in Lyndora.
Crews received a call for the fire at the former AK Steel just after 9:30 p.m.
According to a Cleveland-Cliffs spokesperson the fire started in an overhead cable tray at a finishing line in the plant.
At its peak though, this was a very intense fire. Pictures from the scene show heavy flames and dark smoke.
All employees made it out safely and no one was injured.
Crews remained on the scene for more than three hours. The total amount of damage and impact on Cleveland Cliffs operations are unknown.
