Crews were busy battling a house fire in Center Township Wednesday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday for a house fire in the 600 block of Sunset Drive near the intersection with Holyoke Road.
Crews from Unionville, Prospect, and West Sunbury were among those arriving on scene to find heavy smoke and a working fire at a two story farmhouse. It was soon elevated to a second alarm fire.
As firefighters battled the blaze, a portion of Sunset had to be shut down. It is not believed that anyone was home at the time of the fire.
The house is considered a total loss.
It is not clear at this time what started the fire.
