The City of Butler Parks, Recreation Grounds, and Facilities Authority is welcoming the public to join in a remembrance of a longtime figure in the local baseball community tonight.
Leo Domachowski will be the first person inducted into the new Historic Pullman Park Hall of Fame during a ceremony tonight at 5:45 p.m.
Domachowski passed away last year at age 84 after spending many years as a baseball coach and active baseball director in Butler. Many of Domachowski’s family members will be coming in from Ohio and his son will be throwing out the first pitch.
Following the ceremony, the BlueSox will play a doubleheader against Creekside in what will be their final home games of this season.
