Even though Flag Day is not until Wednesday, a local group is holding a gathering to mark the occasion later today (Sunday).
St John’s Church in Lyndora will hold their annual Flag Day ceremony at the flag pole beside the Lyndora post office.
This event will start between 11 and 11:15 a.m. depending how long it takes participants to walk down street.
