Butler County is under a Flood Warning due to lots of rain, which combined with snow melt and possible ice jams, is causing several problems throughout the area.
The warning remains in effect through 5:30 p.m. Friday. When the warning expires, a Flood Watch will remain through Saturday afternoon. Areas prone to flooding will likely do so.
Crews have responded to numerous calls for flooded roads and basements since midnight. The calls have spanned the county.
A water rescue team has been called to at least two locations in southern Butler County- one in Forward Twp and another in Middlesex Township- to aid people either stuck in a flooded vehicle or home.
