Heavy rain and thunderstorms ruined some 4th of July parties on Thursday evening.
About 7:30 p.m., the National Weather Service Office in Pittsburgh issued a Flash Flood Warning for northeastern Butler County as several inches of rainfall was expected to fall. Locations like Parker, Emlenton, Bruin, Eau Claire, Petrolia and Cherry Valley were at risk for flooding.

More rain and storms are expected Friday afternoon, on Saturday and Sunday. Forecasters say localized flash flooding is possible during thunderstorms.
