Floyd Snyder

Floyd Snyder, 79, of Butler passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024. He was born in Butler on November 3, 1944 to the late Floyd and Ellen (Leras) Snyder. He served his country honorably in the US Army. Floyd worked for Pullman Standard, then Green View Gardens and later for Butler Township Parks and Recreation. He enjoyed playing with his dogs, going to the casino and working on cars. Floyd loved his family and friends dearly and everyone loved him as well. Husband of the late Carol Schaffner; father of Stephanie Vogel, brother-in-law of Stephanie Snyder; and grandfather of Aubrey and Robbey Fields. He will be forever loved by Mary Dietrich. Along with his wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter Kimberlie Snyder and his brother Walter Snyder.
