As the flu continues to intensify across the state, officials are reminding residents it’s still not too late to get a flu shot.
“It is widespread across Pennsylvania,” Lauffer said. “It’s in 66 of 67 counties, so we’re really urging people to go get their flu shots. It’s quick and it’s easy,” Brittany Lauffer of the Department of Health said.
There have been over 25,000 confirmed cases of the flu in the state—with 341 of them in Butler County.
Health officials have labeled the flu as widespread and the number of cases has crossed the epidemic threshold.
