A local dairy is again contributing to an upcoming feed distribution event in neighboring Lawrence County.
Marburger Dairy is one of the food providers participating in the Huge Food Distribution planned for Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. at The Town Mall in New Castle.
Volunteers will load boxes of fresh milk, quality dairy products, frozen meats, dry goods, and fresh produce into the vehicles of families in need. Organizers hope to distribute thousands boxes of food to up to 1,500 families on a first come, first served basis.
This effort is part of the Nourishing Others Well-being project sponsored by Jubilee Ministries International along with the Christian Chamber of Commerce of Western PA. For more information about this event, visit the website of either organization.
