A local dairy is contributing to an upcoming feed distribution event in neighboring Lawrence County.
Marburger Dairy is one of the food providers participating in the Huge Drive-Thru Food Giveaway planned for Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. at Shenango Area High School in New Castle.
Volunteers will load boxes of fresh milk, quality dairy products, frozen meats, dry goods, and fresh produce into the vehicles of families in need. Organizers hope to distribute nearly 8,000 boxes of food total to around 2,000 families on a first come, first served basis.
This effort is part of the Nourishing Others Well-being project sponsored by Jubilee Ministries International along with the Christian Chamber of Commerce of Western PA. For more information about this event, visit the website of either organization.
