A former Butler County detective is looking to change his plea to not guilty to charges of false tax returns and loan applications.
Scott Roskovski initially pled guilty this past May to those charges, which were a part of an investigation that he and his wife embezzled over a million dollars from the Butler Health System. However, a Department of Justice spokesperson said that Roskovski told the court of his intentions to change his plea.
Roskovski’s sentencing was originally set for Wednesday.
His wife Stephanie also pled guilty, but has requested an in-person sentencing. The court has agreed to push back the date to March 11th.
Roskovski’s attorney declined to comment on the matter.
