A Wexford man who was apprehended in Arizona following a nationwide manhunt has pleaded guilty to charges in federal court.
56-year-old Daniel Teed has been charged with failure to register as a sex offender as well as failure to surrender for service of a sentence.
Following a previous conviction for conspiracy to sex traffic a minor, Teed failed to turn himself in January 2nd to begin serving a 10-year prison term. He was arrested February 12th in Flagstaff by U.S. Marshals after an investigation revealed he was using an alias and a disguise.
Teed will be sentenced in September and could face an additional 20 years in prison, half million dollar fine, or three years of supervised release.
