A retired judge who lives in Grove City has pleaded guilty to violating a federal gun law.
78-year-old Karl Alexander admitted to lying to officials when he purchased a gun last September for Dennis Riggs—who was a convicted felon, and according to our news partners at WPXI, a Nazi sympathizer.
Alexander told WPXI he purchased the gun because of his friendship with Riggs, but waited until he retired from the bench because he knew it would break the law.
The feds recommended Alexander serve two to three years in prison. The sentencing will be held in July.
Riggs is currently still in custody.
