Former Pirate great Frank Thomas passes

Former Pittsburgh Pirate slugger Frank Thomas has died at the age of 93. He played for the Pirates from 1951 to 1958, made three All-Star games and was an MVP finalist in 1958. Thomas hit 35 home runs that season, second to Ernie Banks of the Chicago Cubs.
