The South Butler Volunteer Fire building has officially changed hands.
According to county records, a company named Aerco Inc. is now the formal owner of the land and building that housed the former fire hall.
South Butler closed their own volunteer fire department several years ago as part of a larger merger to form the Butler Township VFD, which is Fire District 3.
The price of the sale according to the county record was for $325,000.
It’s unclear what Aerco will be using the building for.
