Several Butler County School Districts plan to hold Commencement Ceremonies later this evening.
Butler Area School District’s ceremony is scheduled to happen outdoors at Art Bernardi Stadium, weather permitting, and begin at 6:30 p.m.
In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held on Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon. All family and friends of graduating students are invited with no limit on guests. Those not able to attend can watch a livestream on the district’s YouTube channel.
Slippery Rock and Karns City School Districts also plan to recognize the graduates of their senior classes during ceremonies tonight. Mars Area High School will hold their Graduation Ceremony and Walk beginning at 6 p.m. after postponing the event on Thursday.
