Four motorists were injured following a one car crash that occurred last week in the northern part of Butler County.
According to State Police, a 18-year-old Thomas Parker of Butler was traveling on Parker Pike, near Allegheny Church Road in Allegheny Township on Thursday around 7:30 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle.
Police say Parker was driving too fast for conditions and that his car became airborne, traveled off the road, hit a tree, went back across the road before hitting another tree and overturned.
A total of five people were inside the vehicle, including four juvenile girls. Two passengers were flown to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment of unknown injuries, and a third passenger was transported to the Grove City Medical Center. Parker suffered minor injuries, but refused treatment.
Police plan to cite the driver with Reckless Driving.
