Frank A. “Frankie” “Frankster” Nagy, Sr., 74, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Sugar Creek Rest, Inc.
He was born March 1, 1947 in Butler, the son of the late Lewis and Anna and (Reott) Nagy. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Frankie was a good soul. He was loving, caring and very funny. He was the best of everything with his favorite quote was “everyday’s a Saturday.”
Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Cindy J. (Dreher) Nagy; 2 sons, Frank Nagy, Jr. (Carolyn) and Richard (Cheryl) Nagy; his daughter, Sherri Rekich (Jason Voyda) ; his grandchildren, Keisha (Dave) Kurtz and Ted “Buddy” Rekich, III,and Megan (Jeremy) Lawrence; great grandchildren, Marek & Kairi, Alyssa, Taniesha and Jasper; 2 brothers, Ed (Patty) Nagy and Lew (Sheila) Nagy; his second family who loved him dearly, Linda (Bela) Eross, Susan Dreher (John); Dave Dreher, Kris Dreher, Kellie (Tony) Hertz; Mikey Eross and Doreen Desmond; several nieces, nephews and tons of friends; and Doodlebug, Rascal and Brownie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and uncles. John Nagy and Ed Reott.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
