Frank Pichler

Frank Pichler, 87, of Butler passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024. He was born in Lyndora on December 27, 1936, to the late Frank and Stella (Bronchak) Pichler Sr. Frank graduated in 1955 from Butler Area School. He then honorably served in the U.S. Army for 2 years. And was employed at ARMCO Steel for 42 years until he retired in 1997. Frank was a member of the American Legion Post 778. He will be forever loved and missed by his family. Frank was the beloved husband of Sally (Lackey) Pichler since their marriage in 1960; father of Vicki (John) Koch, Matthew (Sharon) Pichler, and David Pichler; brother of Marie Kline, Patricia (Robert) Kosar, and Robert Pichler; grandfather of numerous grandchildren; great-grandfather of 3. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws. All services were held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD.
