Frederick Philip “Fred” Wulff, 93, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 3, 2022, at Concordia at the Orchard.
He was born December 21, 1928, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Anthony Joseph Wulff and the late Roma J. Schawalder Wulff.
Fred graduated from Butler High School. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in the Korean War. Fred worked for Pullman Standard and was the owner and operator of Wulff Electric, retiring in 1993. He was a member of BuCo’s the Butler County Camping Group. Fred was a member of St. John’s Reformed Church. He enjoyed singing and reading his Bible. Fred served on the consistory at St. Peter’s Reformed Church and St. John’s for over 30 years.
Fred is survived by his two sons, Philip (Peggy) Wulff of Butler, PA, Barry (Keira) Wulff of Chicora, PA; one daughter, Christine (Buck) Bohmer of Sykesville, MD; eight grandchildren, Heidi Shoffner, Lauren Partlow, Kelly Thomas, Nathan Wulff, Alissa Harvey, Jason Wulff, Vanessa Welton, and Natalie Wulff; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Faye Wulff, who he married on January 24, 1951, and who passed away on August 5, 2019; three brothers, Anthony Wulff, Elmer Wulff, and Donald Wulff; three sisters, Roma Miller, Ruth Wulff, and Carolyn Wulff; and one grandson.
Friends will be received Friday, May 6, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thompson – Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, PA.
Additional visitation will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Reformed Church, 494 Evans City Road, Butler, PA, with Rev. Jarrod Crawford, officiating
Burial will take place in the Butler County Memorial Park.
