The Pennsylvania Department of Health will be offering free COVID-19 testing to anyone who feels that they are in need of a test in neighboring Armstrong County later this week.
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Health, the testing will begin Thursday at Belmont Complex on Butler Road in Kittanning and continue through Monday.
This site will contain a drive-thru testing clinic only to contain the spread of COVID-19 open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Testing will consist of a mid-nasal passage swab PCR test. No appointment is necessary but on-site registration is required so those attending should bring a photo ID or insurance card.
This testing will be first-come, first-served and up to 450 patients can be tested each day. Results are expected to be available two to seven days after testing.
