Cranberry Township will once again be hosting a free program for teens who are interested in becoming firefighters.
The Cranberry VFC will launch its second year Junior Cadet Fire Academy from Monday through Friday at the Public Safety Training Facility.
Participants will learn fire safety and how the trucks work as well as receive CPR and first-aid certification. There will also be hands-on experience with the equipment and live training demonstrations.
The Cadet Fire Academy is open to boys and girls ages 14 to 18 and lunch is provided. Registration information is available through the Cranberry Township website.
