It’s now April which means you only have a few more weeks to get your taxes done if you haven’t already.
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, also known as VITA, is still up and running. The program is run through the Center for Community Resources and offers free tax prep for individuals and families who make under $50,000 per year.
There are several VITA locations throughout the county, including in downtown Butler, Slippery Rock, Cranberry…and even outside the county in Kittanning.
You should call the Center for Community Resources to make an appointment at 724-431-3767.
Tax prep services will continue through April 14.
