Local veterans will have a chance to get their taxes prepared for free later this week.
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is hosting IRS-certified volunteer tax preparers on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Abie Abraham VA Clinic on North Duffy Road.
Veterans with a gross income of $60,000 or less can have their taxes prepared and e-filed for free.
This program is made possible by the Center for Community Resources and no appointment is necessary.
