Motorists should be aware of a road closure planned for southern Butler County this weekend.
According to PennDOT, the closure of Freedom Road in Cranberry Township will begin on Friday at 10 p.m. and continue until Monday at 6 a.m. weather permitting.
Detours will be posted using Cranberry Square Drive, Executive Drive, Thorn Hill Road, and Commonwealth Drive.
Motorists should expect delays during those times and avoid those areas if possible.
