Freeport Pole Vaulter wins state title

Freeport sophomore Makenzie Magness won the Class 2A PIAA championship in the Pole Vault over the weekend. Her state title mark was 12-feet.

The North Catholic girl’s 400-Relay team also brought back a Class 2A title.
