After receiving early morning snow yesterday that led to a number of cancellations, it’s the temperatures that are forcing a change of plans for local school districts.
According to the National Weather Service, real temperatures were hovering just above 0 degrees, with the wind chill making it feel like -9.
That led every district in the county opted for at least a two-hour delay or move to remote learning.
The wind child advisory remains in place through noon today. Eventually, temperatures are expected to rise to 20 degrees later today.
