A couple of accidents with injuries affected traffic around the southern Butler County area Friday afternoon.
The first call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly after 2 p.m. for a crash on Freedom Road in Cranberry Township. Cranberry Fire Department and EMS responded to the scene to find vehicles still on the road and one person complaining of back pain.
The second accident occurred just a few minutes later in Penn Township in the 400 block of Pittsburgh Road (Route 8 South). Penn Township emergency responders arrived on scene to find a vehicle on its side and at least one person entrapped.
Motorists experienced traffic delays on both those busy roads until crews were able to clear the scenes.
