There were two new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths reported by the state for Butler County on Friday.
This is the fewest number of new local cases since September.
The most recent report from the Butler Health System is that as of Wednesday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating four patients for the coronavirus with one COVID patient in the ICU.
Statewide, there were just under 400 new cases reported on Friday and 19 new deaths bringing the statewide total to 27,457 since the beginning of the pandemic.
