There were 16 new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths reported by the state for Butler County on Friday.
That’s down a little more than a handful of cases compared to last Friday.
As of Friday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 7 patients for the coronavirus, with one COVID patients in the ICU. This is a decrease from 10 hospitalized and two in the ICU on Wednesday.
Statewide, there were a little more than a thousand new cases today along with 24 additional deaths. Hospitalizations in Pennsylvania also dropped to 1,107—which continues the downward trend seen over the last six weeks.
