There were 68 new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths for Butler County Friday.
There was a slight uptick in the number of patients hospitalized for COVID reported by the Butler Health System. As of Friday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 16 patients for the coronavirus—which is up two since the last report Wednesday. The hospital also has three COVID patients in the ICU.
Statewide hospitalizations continued to rise as well, with 2,173 patients receiving treatment. That’s up about 60 since Thursday.
There were 4,656 new cases and 28 additional deaths Friday for Pennsylvania.
